Welcome to the NET+ Canvas Program!
The Internet2 NET+ Canvas Program is open to all Internet2 members. This wiki page will overview how to make the most of your program participation by providing details on Service documentation, upcoming events, latest Service Advisory Board news, and community resources around the web.
If you are looking details on how to join the program, add licenses as a existing participant, or adopt the latest version of the NET+ Canvas Customer Agreement, please visit the Engage Tab of the NET+ Canvas webpage.
Program Benefits:
In addition to discounted subscription fees, Internet2 Members are eligible for these special NET+ Canvas benefits:
- Discounted rates on professional services
- Customized support packages at discounted rates
- Two free passes to InstructureCon, Instructure's annual conference, the first year of your agreement
- Access to subscriber mailing lists, regular program webinars, and other community resources
Program Characteristics:
- Open to all Internet2 members
- Minimum commitment for an Enterprise Customer is 3 years
- Enterprise Customer Agreement (ECA) automatically renews
Newsletters & Program Updates
Newsletters about the NET+ Canvas Program are issued monthly and soon to be emailed to all Program Subscribers. Missed the latest issue? Note that you can always go back and review previous newsletters, and please reach out to us to ensure you receive them in your inbox going forward.
In addition to monthly newsletters, NET+ Canvas Subscribers may also review our mailing list archives for additional program updates.
The NET+ Canvas Service Advisory Board meets monthly in collaboration with Instructure to discuss strategic product improvements, program roadmaps, community experience, and more. Previous SAB meeting agendas are made available shortly after each meeting.
Program Events
4/11/24 In Person SAB Meeting: The Canvas Service Advisory Board will be convening in Salt Lake City for their annual face-to-face SAB meeting at Instructure's Global HQ office. The full day's agenda will be shared soon.
2/21/24 Town Hall: Internet2 and Instructure hosted a Town Hall to outline the details and benefits of Amendment 9. In September of 2023, an amendment was agreed upon between Instructure and Internet2 to update pricing schedules and introduce bundling for Internet2 members that purchase from Instructure. The town hall provided an overview of the amendment process, layout the details of the pricing structures and benefits and Instructure will highlight products offered in the Instructure Learning Platform.
11/11/23 Webinar: Empowering Education with Canvas Credentials: Indiana University's Stakeholder Engagement and Microcredential Approach. If you missed the live event, you can view the on demand recording, and the summary of the Q&As.
