Welcome to the NET+ Canvas Service Advisory Board!

Welcome to the NET+ Canvas Service Advisory Board (SAB) homepage. Note that this space is under construction, but overtime, you can expect this to be a home base for SAB activities, annual goals, produced documentation, and membership involvement information. For questions and feedback, please contact netplus@internet2.edu.

The Internet2 NET+ Canvas Program is open to all Internet2 members, and the work of the Service Advisory Board ensures the program offering continues to meet the Program needs of subscribing Internet2 member institutions. SAB members meet monthly to discuss varied topics based on the needs of the community, Instructure's product roadmap, annual SAB goals, and other related changes to the Higher Education landscape. The NET+ Canvas Service Advisory Board is charged with supporting the ongoing strategic management of the Canvas program and serves as a community focal point for feedback from the broader service subscriber base.

Service Advisory Board Meetings

Board meetings are held monthly via Zoom for an hour in duration and meeting agendas are published to board members ahead of each scheduled call. Additionally, the NET+ Canvas SAB convenes in person 1-2 times per year: once in the February/March timeframe at Instructure's HQ Office in Salt Lake City, and once during the summer while at Instructure's annual conference, InstructureCon. Past and current meeting agendas are available in the 2020-2024 agenda archive

Annual SAB Goals

At the start of each year, Service Advisory Board Members define a set of objectives that help frame meeting agendas, larger discussions, and priorities for the ensuing 12 months. Past and current SAB Goals are available in the 2020-2024 goals archive
