Welcome to the NET+ Kion wiki! Kion, one of the leading cloud enablement solution providers, is joining the NET+ Services portfolio. Research and Education institutions can use Kion for Automation & Orchestration, Financial Management, and Continuous Compliance for cloud enablement across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

Kion entered into the NET+ Service Evaluation process in May, 2022 and an agreement was signed in X 2022.

Email discussion list and Slack

Institutions participating in the NET+ Kion program may take advantage of our email discussion list and Slack channel to communicate with peer institutions, receive curated program updates and participate in other activities and events. 

Service Advisory Board (limited to subscribers to the NET+ Kion program)

The NET+ Kion Service Advisory Board will kick off upon launch of the program and addition of subscribers.

Service Evaluation

Twelve geographically diverse, public and private universities, completed the evaluation of a number of aspects of the Kion offering, with a focus on capabilities provided in their offering and priorities identified by the service evaluation team. These areas included:

  • Developed a business model that helps institutions manage budgets and the current economic climate
  • Building scalable higher education specific contractual terms and pricing
