A scholar is interested in applying a remote service - hosted by some person, institution, or organization other than Bamboo. Utilization of the service is restricted; one must present some type of token or credential to be permitted to use the service. Bamboo affiliation is sufficient to be granted use/access of the service. The scholar would therefore wish to use her Bamboo login as a means to authorize access to the desired service. (Note that "service" in this case might be as simple as execution of a request/response sequence to/from a web service; or might involve a privilege to log into a work environment that enables execution of software services against content supplied by the scholar.)
