  • Tools
    • MS Office or similar Google Docs, Wikis are what most people use.  It is the lowest common denominator.
    • UBC used Troux (http://www.troux.com/Image Removed) to do an engagement analysis mapping capabilities to technology to show gaps and overlaps.  Part of strategic planning
    • UMUC uses Sparx (http://www.sparxsystems.com/Image Removed) but dislike it and are stopping.
    • Archi (http://archi.cetis.ac.uk/Image Removed) maps to UML and is a simple tool for working with Archimate (http://www.opengroup.org/subjectareas/enterprise/archimateImage Removed)
    • Scott Fullerton at UW-Madison likes to use UML and MagicDraw UML because it enforces rigor when you need to make sure things are rigorous.
