eduroam Transition Updates

We'll be posting updates and what to expect each week through the first week of December. Watch this page for notifications.

Ongoing

  • Daily synchronization jobs run so that any changes made in the legacy admin console will get propagated to the new eduroam Federation Manager.

Week of October 18

Planned

  • Internet2 will move to eduroam Federation Manager.
  • eduroam Support Organizations and their constituents will move to eduroam Federation Manager.
  • Internet2 will shift the GEANT global feed (that provides international routing) to eduroam Federation Manager.

Week of October 14

Planned

  • Alpha eduroam subscribers will move to eduroam Federation Manager.

Accomplished

  • eduroam Federation Manager deployed to production on AWS.
  • RADIUS backend deploy using Infrastructure as code to two AWS regions.
  • Data imported from legacy admin console into eduroam Federation Manager.
