An Attribute is an element of Identity associated with a person.[1] Such Identities may also be associated with other subjects, such as software agents. Examples of attributes include identifiers, name, email, phone, address, group membership, and permissions. Note that an Attribute may or may not uniquely identify an individual, depending on what information it contains.
