The Assured Access Working Group is chartered by the InCommon Community Trust Assurance Board (CTAB) to develop guidance to help academic institutions implement REFEDS Assurance Framework conforming identity-proofing and authentication credential assurance practices so that they are able to meet the coming NIH requirements for federated identity and authentication assurance, currently expected in June 2021.
The WG may decide to continue work on a more comprehensive set of recommendations after its initial release.
