Supporting Remote Tumor Boards with Webinar Software
A tumor board is a treatment planning approach in which a number of physicians who are experts in different specialties review and discuss the medical condition and treatment options of a patient. This presentation will describe our experience supporting tumor boards with geographically dispersed physicians using webinar software in the Head and Neck Surgery Section of the Department of Surgery, University of Puerto Rico. Besides sharing results of imaging and other clinical studies, we explored the potential for sharing light microscopy images during a session.
