Subject: [mfa-cohort] Please register soon for the new MFA Cohortium Collaboration Space
Date: Tue, 4 Feb 2014 14:37:10 -0600

Dear Cohortium participants,

The Cohortium wiki space is moving to a collaboration management platform (CMP), powered by COmanage, that will enable us to administer our Confluence wiki groups and Sympa electronic mail lists in one place, rather than defining them separately in both Confluence and Sympa. In the future, it will also enable federated group scheduling and other applications, again managed from a single interface. At the same time, the Cohortium usage of this environment will also serve as another useful deployment example for CoManage.

We have had the intention to establish this "Cohortium Collaboration space", based on the work of the CoManage project (also part of the CoCoA effort), since the Cohortium began. There were a lot of things that had to happen, however, before everything aligned to do so. But we are now ready to launch this. But now we need your cooperation and action to do so.

What we need *you* to do so we can proceed:

We need you to go to the following URL:

   https://registry.cohortium.internet2.edu/registry/pages/public/launch

and start the "Registration Process" by clicking on the "Click here to register for the Cohortium's new Collaboration Management Platform" link. You will need to login using your local Identity Provider, or using Google if you don't have an Identity Provider that will work. Hopefully you'll find the instructions and process clear, but we are here to help if you need it. We'd appreciate it very much if you can go ahead and do this soon, because we can't effectively make the switch without everyone taking this step.

Thanks in advance,

Mike & David

[Note: Registration requires your institution to release certain information about you to the CMP. If there are any issues with this during your registration process, you will be directed to a page describing the actions that will need to be taken.]
