Action Items
- In Alternative Strategies When Multi-Factor Tokens Are Not Available, David Walker will clarify that the strategies presented are only examples. We will solicit more examples from the Cohortium membership.
Highlights
- Multiple institutions are interested in CAS enhancements to enable multiple authentication methods and MFA.
- Mike Grady attended the recent IDESG meeting at MIT
- There's a good amount of interest in our work on alternate strategies for lost tokens.
- MIT is doing interested work with cell phones as tokens; they're working a Shib-based opt-in MFA service
- IDESG will be funded at least into Summer/Fall of 2014.
- Cohortium members are asked to contribute to Status of MFA and Business Justifications documents.

- There is overlap among the strategies. We'll clarification that we're presenting only example strategies, and we'll create a table summarizing the breadth of scenarios where strategies might be used.
