  • MD - started as UMASS - now restructing as MDREN - starting to serve K-12.  starting a non profit to offer cloud sourced offerings.  Applied to the UCAN affiliate program.  
  • HI - Steve - almost all efforts are focused on massive BTOP project to get connectivity to CAIs.  Provide 1Gig to every school and public library, public community college and university college (10 Gig).  Working with local providers to provide last mile circuits.  Working on a state longitiudal database to map student progress across K-20.  Expanding video conferencing capacity in HI. Circuits turned up over next 12 months.  25% 
  • CO - Jeff Custard - NCAR supercomputer - lots of K-12 interest in WY.  Gov. in CO kicking off a 
    Statenets meeting in CO.  Eaglenet project is moving forward quickly in connecting all school districts.
  • James - send out meeting schedule.  follow up with Kim to schedule a call with NPS.  send deadlines for MM call for proposals.  Send out links to existing videos on Sea to Shining sea project.
