- There are 217 R&S IdPs and 132 R&S SPs worldwide
- The number of global R&S IdPs increased by 63 in January
- There are an additional 85 InCommon IdPs that release attributes to R&S SPs registered by InCommon (but not R&S SPs registered by other federations)
- R&S SPs registered in multiple federations
- There are 70 SPs registered both by InCommon and by at least one other federation
- Use case: Open Science Data Cloud Console (Open Commons Consortium)

- Action item: Add a question about multiple federations to the Research and Scholarship Application Form for Service Providers
Domains in IdP Metadata
- A recent "incident"
- An InCommon participant submitted new IdP metadata with a vendor .com domain in the endpoint locations
- That metadata was not approved, which led to a series of discussions
- Action item: Document current policy and procedure regarding Domains in IdP Metadata
- Proposal: Relax the requirements on domains in IdP endpoint locations
- The proposal was discussed with the Ops Advisory Group on January 12
