Hypothetical Request
Large University wants to provide $50,000 in federal funding towards the OSS IDM Joint Venture. The funding is not earmarked in any way.
Execution
The Joint Venture governance committee allocates the funding to the workstreams and shared services identified as underfunded priorities. As the funding is not large enough to warrant a dedicated seat at the governance table to the university, the university is given a vote in the community representative pool.
