Troubleshooting GridShib

  • If IDP_HOME/logs/shib-error.log reports "ClassNotFoundException: edu.internet2.middleware.shibboleth.common.provider.GridShibNameIdentifierMapping" after following the GridShib for Shibboleth installation notes, see the FAQ "Why are the GridShib for Shibboleth classes are not being deployed to Tomcat?"
