A global initiative that began in 2014, Mutually Agreed Norms for Routing Security (MANRS), takes one step toward preventing network attacks by taking on security as a shared responsibility between networks. 77 network operators and 20 IXPs currently participate.
This webinar provided a brief overview of risks to network routing within the R&E community, and examples of the impact of even a small, malicious routing announcement. And, it also covered the four easy ways to implement activities that comprise MANRS.
