DevOps—short for development and operations—is a type of agile relationship between software development and IT operations. It combines the two business functions into a highly collaborative and efficient process. TIER has chosen to support a DevOps environment for the software components included within their standard IAM suite of software which includes COmanage, Grouper, MidPoint, and Shibboleth.
