The NET+ Instructure Program Manager reviews and prioritizes community feature requests on a quarterly basis and submits them to Instructure product leadership. Feature requests may be submitted using this form.

Service Advisory Group 

The NET+ Instructure Service Advisory Group meets monthly in collaboration with Instructure to discuss strategic product improvements, program roadmaps, community experience, and more. Previous SAG meeting agendas are made available shortly after each meeting. If you'd like to share your questions or concerns with the Service Advisory Group, please fill out this form. The mission of the Instructure & Internet2 Data Governance Advisory Council is to bring together an influential group of educational leaders who, together with Instructure, will help map, shape, and evaluate new solutions, services and policy surrounding data retention

Amendment #10

Amendment #10 to the NET+ agreement, which incorporates new Instructure products like Canvas Archiving and Intelligent Insights, along with pricing updates and policy clarifications, is nearly finalized following feedback from the Service Advisory Group on November 12, 2025. A webinar will follow once it’s complete.

Past Events

Members of the Instructure team hosted a recap of the key announcements from InstructureCon and shared what was new for higher education. The Instructure Product team walked through recent releases, presented live demos, and provided resources to support change management at institutions. Participants also gained visibility into what was next across the Instructure Ed-cosystem to help them prepare for upcoming innovations.

In this meeting, we will discuss Instructure's current and upcoming initiatives in data governance, focusing on innovations in data retention for education. The agenda includes an open Q&A session, exploration of new concepts and solutions for data retention, and gathering feedback on product strategy and future plans. Key topics include course archiving features, configuration of data governance policies, and the implementation of hard deleting mechanisms, all aimed at improving data management.

Instructure, working with Internet2, announced the creation of a Data Governance Advisory Council to address the rising data management and archiving needs of higher educational institutions. Comprising members from Instructure and Internet2, as well as representatives from various education institutions, the council seeks to recommend consistent data hygiene/governance standards. Read the full Press Release for more information. 

Thanks to everyone that was able to attend our most recent Town Hall outlining the details and benefits of Amendment #9. In September of 2023, an amendment was agreed upon between Instructure and Internet2 to update pricing schedules and introduce bundling for Internet2 members that purchase from Instructure.
