Goal #1 (Instructure Customer Experience)

Conduct market condition discussions about Instructure’s Customer Experience as it relates to Instructure products, platform, and services, the NET+ Instructure program and our community of institutions. 

  • Deliverable: Curate NET+ Service Advisory Group meeting agendas that focus on Instructure’s customer experience. 
    • Include representatives from Instructure to advise, educate, and consult on best practices with the Instructure learning platform.
  • Deliverable: *Department of Justice’s ruling on accessibility (Legislation Resource)
    • Consult Instructure on surfacing Accessibility information for partners solutions.
    • Co-create a definitive executive summary on Accessibility (Dynamic document)
      • With roadmap information included. 
      • Include VPAT updates across all products in executive summary.
    • Co-create a white paper educating faculty on how to build accessible courses.
    • Co-create an Instructure service that supports institutions to meet accessibility requirements. 
    • Co-create a community space/group where Instructure, Internet2 and institutions can collaborate and share best practices. 
  • Deliverable: The NET+ SAG to consult and advise Instructure on change management best practices.
    • Co-create a framework for Instructure to abide by for the product development cycle.
    • Consult Instructure on best practice/preference for product release communication/channels. 
  • Deliverable: Intersection of Instructure products, data, AI
    • Evolve the Data Governance Council to expand the scope in 2025 to include data model training.  
  • Deliverable: Academic integrity, Canvas supporting LTI asst processors (needs work) 

Goal #2 (Instructure Strategy)

Instructure to conduct discussion about Instructure strategy and roadmap development.

  • Deliverable: Melissa to facilitate timely discussion on Instructure's strategy semi-annually. 
  • Deliverable: Product leadership team to discuss Instructure product roadmap semi-annually.
    • Product leaders continue to facilitate discussions on specific products.
  • Deliverable: NET+ SAG to participate in an Instructure-hosted Customer Discovery Session (formerly known as Project Khaki or Tiger Team).
  • Deliverable: Technical Infrastructure of Instructure

Goal #3 (NET+ Instructure Community Experience) 

Ensure that NET+ Program activities are aligned with work happening across Instructure, the Service Advisory Group, and Internet2 best practices.

  • Deliverable: Service Advisory Group to review and approve changes in Amendment #10.
  • Deliverable: Quarterly NET+ Instructure Community webinars on products and processes.
  • Deliverable: Consider new program activities to incorporate further engagement from the NET+ Instructure community like open office hours, tech shares, community chats, and in-person meetups. 
  • Deliverable: Update Internet2 Canvas Service page, Cloud Scorecard listing, and program name from NET+ Canvas to NET+ Instructure.
