A Registry Person Role is intended to represent a Person's relation to the CO. A Person can have more than one Person Role.

Date Model Elements

There are several attributes of interest attached to the Person Role: affiliation, COU, department, manager, organization, sponsor, status, title, and validity dates. Person Roles can also be ordered (within the same Person).

In addition, the following multi-valued attributes can be attached to Person Roles:

Affiliations

Each Person Role must be assigned an Affiliation. This is not the case for External Identity Roles, so when External Identity Roles are synced to a Person, an approach must be selected to ensure an Affiliation is set. See External Identity Roles and Affiliations for more information.
