Collaboration Meetings:Committees of the collaboration meet on scheduled times that are set by the committee. Committees are structured with a documented purpose and goal (charge) and have a chairperson to help with organization. The goal is to maximize the value of every participant's time and provide the best possible input to ICE in order to receive back the desired system refinements. Committees generally range in number of participants from 2 to 10 people. Depending on the current area of focus and activity, meetings range from weekly to monthly and range from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Meetings are held by web conference with invitations to attend face to face meetings as well. The face to face meetings are held twice per year, once in the spring and once in the autumn. While the collaboration is active and participation is a priority in order for the profession to receive the system required, participation to any meeting is voluntary.
