From Hebert Diaz-Floresat UC-Berkeley

Berkeley is starting the process to develop four enterprise architecture roadmaps.  To guide the process, we will use the attached document.  ... Progress in writing drafts of the roadmaps is slow.  We have developed drafts of the Vision and Strategy sections for the EIA and EBPA roadmaps.  We are working to do the same for the EAA and ETIA ones.  At the current pace, my forecast is that it will take us about two years to complete and adopt these documents.  The challenge is that we need to start moving towards change sooner than that.  For example, we believe we need to move towards implementing a SOA Governance and Infrastructure process (part of the EAA roadmap) within a year.
