A decision from the Kuali community on if they are planning to move forward with additional IDM functionality in KIM. If so, when are they planning to do this work.

Status

• September 30, 2010 - This is currently under discussion by the Kuali "Application Roadmap Committee". In general, our commercial affiliates are telling us that there is a lot of interest in the community to move KIM toward more of a complete identity and access management solution. However, the final decision on how to evolve this piece of Rice rests with the ARC and a decision is still under discussion and is pending here.
• November 15, 2010 - This is an item of interest to some institutions but it hasn't been deemed as high a priority for Kuali Rice as other items. Through the Rice roadmap prioritization process and as part of a roadmap presentation at Kuali Days 2010, the research work for this has fallen into our Kuali Rice 1.6 version timeline which is out in April of 2014. Note that at the current time this official roadmap has not been published yet, so things may still change slightly before the roadmap is published in the next month or so.
