Community Updates

Joe: we've been trying to get a handle on IpV6 measurement data. Not possible to do ? on the Junipers,
Special filters put in place ot do some of that .   See if we can get data from the PCs .  Anonymous ? process for ?  No consensus for IPv6 side. Can we talk about that today?
Might not have right people on this call. Don't have folks w much IpV6 knowledge.
Carla: it's a topic we could take back to the NTAC for disucsion
Discuss it on this call another time. Maybe at Joint Techs.  Yes bring it up in Indianapolis.
AI - Carla will put this on the agenda.  IpV6

Working Group Charter

Take it forth to the NTAC before Joint Techs?
AI - Carla will send link out to the group for the charter.  Send feedback to Carla
AI anyone w agenda items send them to Carla
Joe - I didn't mean to shut down the topic.  Folks interested in a V6 security project. It would require some visibility.
Jeff: even in v4 space, there has been discussion of revisiting the anonymousation.
[AI] Joe will Send a summary to list on what you are looking for in the way of IPv6 securtiy. And recommondeations
There are assumptions in ipv4 space on address boundaries local vs non local . In v6 address allocations policies are so varied.  Could be tricky. Need to tease out. Anything below a 64 is not defensible.  Above that , it's interesting.
Carla: Joe, I'd add on to what Jeff said, send a summary plus your recommendations.
Intentd to have final release before Joint Techs
