Grouper School Workshop Series
The InCommon Shibboleth Installation Workshop provides attendees with technical installation and configuration experience with Shibboleth, including Identity Provider (version 3) and Service Provider. Developed for organizations new to Shibboleth, or for individuals assuming Shibboleth responsibilities at organizations with existing deployments, the course will let you:
- Install a prototype Shibboleth identity and service provider in a CentOS or Windows virtual machine environment.
- Discussion of next steps towards configuring and running the software in production.
- Learn about integration with LDAP directories and selected packages, as well as advanced topics.
- Hear about the baseline practices for using Shibboleth as part of federated identity management
