Grouper 2.4 will have an upcoming patch to help administrators create a new service.
The wizard will prompt them for a "key", and friendly name (optional). Also the service description.
It will ask the user what they would like in the structure
- Do they want admin groups with inherited permissions (e.g. for ADMIN, READ/UPDATE, READ, UPDATE, etc)
- Configuration will set the directory names and group names (with variables for key and friendly name)
- Optionally a folder will be created for authorization groups
- Optionally a folder could be created for attributes
- It could offer to setup attestation on "Etc" ADMIN groups
