InCommon Technical Advisory Committee

About

The InCommon Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) supports InCommon’s mission “to create and support a common framework for trustworthy shared management of access to online resources.” It is an advisory body to the InCommon Steering Committee. It provides advice on InCommon’s operational processes and practices, strategies, capabilities, and roadmap to InCommon Steering and to InCommon Operations (OPS). The TAC meets biweekly throughout the year. Members serve three-year terms.

• Final Report from OIDC/OAuth Survey WG - Accepted by TAC, March 30, 2017
• March 22 webinar presented the TAC 2017 Work Plan to the community and asked for input (download the slides)
• 2017 Work Plan - Working Groups charters being drafted

    • OIDC/OAuth WG - Phase 2 (charter/write-up for next steps coming soon)
    • Attribute Release 2.0 WG (name tentative, charter coming soon)

  • Draft Charters for all 2017 TAC-sponsored Working Groups are due April 28th
  • Announcements seeking interested community members for new Working Groups will go out in May
