Internet2 Trust and Identity's document stewardship process will formalize the management of documents as they are drafted, proposed, vetted, and approved for use. It is intended to address any documents that are products of work sponsored by Trust and Identity or one of its community advisory groups. Examples of such products include:
- Standards
- Policies
- Contract templates
- Specifications
- Recommendations and guidelines
- White papers

Solicitation for Community Review
The documents describing the document stewardship process were available for community review from October 12, 2016 through November 4, 2016 for community review. The results of that review are at Document Stewardship Community Review.
Document Stewardship Process
- Trust and Identity Document Stewardship, which describes the stewardship process, and
- The Document Repository Service, which describes T&I's support service for the process and the documents. It also contains criteria for the selection of a technical platform for the repository itself.
