CTAB Work Plan
- Theme is scaling interoperability
- Suggestion to defer some work plan items, since there may be too many in the current list
- Discussion of some of the work plan items:
- Work Plan Item: Review new REFEDS Entity Categories & MFA profile
- Plan is to recommend use of personalized entity category instead of R&S
- R&S and the new entity categories (anonymous, pseudonymous, personalized) may exist side by side for several years
- InCommon may want to provide guidance to InCommon federation participants on best way to use/support entity categories
- Suggestion that best practice guidance is needed from REFEDs
- Need to explain to the community how/when to use the new entity categories
- Work Plan Item: Settle how we’ll handle TLS security
- What process should we follow
- New work plan item: Decide how to monitor on-going compliance with Baseline Expectations to help participants maintain adherence
- Albert: InCommon operations is working on strengthening contact management, finding out "are you still there, are you still the right person?"
- Scanning that’s being done for BEv2 is helping collect info
- Suggested process for achieving the work plan items
- For some items, get community involvement and create white papers with recommendation
Action Item: CTAB members: sign up for work plan items you are interested in working on
Action Item: David, Jon and Albert will do editing and cleaning up on the Work Plan document
