Monday, July 20, 2009, 12:30 p.m - 1:50 p.m., at Joint Techs in Indianapolis

- Attendee Introductions

- Community Updates

- Internet2 Updates

- IPV6 Netflow Measurement Data (Joe St. Sauver)

Joe St. Sauver noted that there is an interest in IPV6 measurement data. Joe proposed that Internet2 should begin to collect and make available IPv6 netflow data for research and analysis much in the same way it currently makes anonymized IPv4 flow data available. An anonymization policy for IPv6 data is required. Joe has drafted an initial recommendation for the community to discuss. Read Joe's recommendation.

- Monitoring of Circuits (Aaron Brown)

Aaron Brown has been working on a web-based GUI interface to show current circuit consumption. Aaron will show the interface and describe the monitoring architecture.

-Recommended Measurement Schedules (Joe Metzger)

How long should bandwidth tests run?
How often?
To how many remote locations?
What are the scaling issues. IE how many tests can you support?
How many should you support, etc?

- A Statewide Performance Measurement Infrastructure in North Carolina (Tom Throckmorton)

- Working Group Charter

We have reviewed the charter with NTAC. Initial response was positive.

Everyone is encouraged to review the proposed Performance WG charter.
