What is Identity Services?

Identity Services provides a self-service system for community members to request access and management rights to Internet2 resources in order to facilitate a working group or other collaboration. It leverages the InCommon Federation. In the background, the system uses COmanage and Grouper to manage the registry and permissions.

Individual Users

To get started you can go through the Registration process. See the FAQs

Internet2 Wiki Transition

Individual Users

We are migrating as many accounts as possible, so many users will not notice any difference. Those with incomplete records at the old wiki will need to go through the self-registration process mentioned above. See the wiki transition FAQ for additional information.

Identity Provider Operators

Most IdP operators will need to take some action to ensure they are releasing the proper attributes.
If your Identity Provider releases the Research & Scholarship (R&S) attribute bundle, you are all set. If not, we encourage you to take this opportunity to move to R&S.  See more information here for for Identity Provider operators and configuring your IdP.
