IPv6 WG: They are having  a WG meeting the following day in the morning. There is still a felt need for a revised workshop, using the materials that NYSERnet has developed. There is a desire to track down how well the US Gov sites are doing on deploying v6.

Peering and Routing: Continues to have monthly meetings including updates from Cenic on the status of TR/CPS. There is a discussion going on about Performance Metrics for both TR/CPS and the Layer 3 network.  So far most of the discussion has been around having enhancements to the SNAP tools. There is an ongoing discussion about Netflix. The WG should add a discussion about Net+ services to the WG agenda.

SDN: They hare having biweekly calls with lots of attendance but not quite as much participation. They hope to build more involvement by the members over time. The CCNIE awards may well bring about more deployment on campuses. There is an informal BOF planned for tuesday at 9:15. It might be a good plan to design some sort of small application that campuses can use once them start initial deployment, for verification purposes if nothing else.

Performance: Ken reported that they are looking for a bit of guidance about where the group should be headed. There certainly is a great need for performance metrics. Questions might be What are the most needed metrics  and how are they best obtained and stored.

It would be good to think about having a Working Group around IXP's/Topology/ Virtual Networks.
