1.    Update on CPS
2.    Migration of IPv6 to CPS
3.    Talks between Transit Rail/ CPS discussion

1.    Update on CPS
Caren provided an update on CPS.  She indicated that, since the last report, new peers and additional peerings with current peers had been added. Internet2 is also looking at ways to upgrade as well as ways to add additional peers.  Internet2 is also  looking at ways to make CPS more redundant.

2.    Migration of IPv6 to CPS
Caren mentioned that the NOC is working with four additional organization to make the migration.  There is one other connector that wants to move and has some hardware issues.

Although an actual migration date hasn't been confirmed, the NTAC had earlier confirmed that May 1 would be acceptable with or without all connectors/peers.  Consistent with that, the NOC has stepped up communication with those that haven't yet migrated.

3.    Talks between Transit Rail/ CPS discussion
Transit Rail approached Internet2 to see how TR and CPS could cooperate.  Councils will be provided with updates on these discussions and will be asked for input.  Jeff mentioned that he has been involved in some of the discussions regarding TR and CPS and would be happy to take input back to the process.  A question was asked regarding whether Transit Rail does v6 and the response was that they are considering it.
