1.    Topics for discussion
a.    ION implementation discussion (Dale Finkelson)
Dale mentioned that the test interface is available.  There are configs available that support up to 2G on all backbone paths.  Dale can help get a master account created that allows for the creation of other accounts to create circuits.  Dale just needs the contact information of the person in the region that will be the holder of the master account.  The Ciena network will be turned down by end of July.  Discussion ensued.
b.    Charge to Peering/Routing WG to review IP network in BTOP application (John Moore)
John asked that the peering and routing group look at the BTOP proposal as it stands today.  For example, the NTAC is being asked to look at path redundancy, combo of 10 and 100G paths, etc. The NTAC is being asked to produce a short report that highlights the changes and do some analysis as appropriate.  Jeff agreed that the peering/routing group would consider it.
2.    Updates
a.        Working Group
i.    Information Services (Martin Swany)
The group has held two conference calls since the SMM.  The current activities include involvement by several members in the GENI spiral 3 effort to define network topology for all GENI experiments.  A paper on IP summarization (a key effort for this group) is under submission to a conference.
ii.    ION
Linda Winkler was unable to attend.  Dale mentioned that there have been a couple of calls and the group has been reviewing the ION service description document.  The discussions appear to be productive.
iii.    IPv6 (Michael Lambert)
Michael mentioned that the IPv6 challenge has been conducted at several of the recent Joint Techs.  During the Columbus JT, the wg is going to discuss a modified IPv6 challenge and encouraged all to attend the wg meeting at the Joint Techs meeting to discuss the details.
iv.    Multicast (Richard Machida)
Richard was unable to attend the call.
v.    Peering & Routing (Jeff Bartig)
Jeff mentioned that the peering and routing wg will meet later this month. The wg hasn't had a great deal of activity.  CPS and TR are sharing more routes with the latest addition last week. TR will transition first level NOC to the Global NOC in the next week or so.
vi.    Performance (Carla Hunt & Chris Hawkinson)
Carla and Chris were unable to join the call.
vii.    Transport (Steve Senger & Chet Ruszczyk)
Steve and Chet were unable to join the call.
b.    Internet2
c.    AOAC (John Moore)
At the SMM, the ICO (Inter-Council Organization made up of Council Chairs and Vice Chairs) met and discussed the Internet2 strategic plan.  The ICO decided to update the plan to make it more current. The AOAC was provided with a draft of the update.  The document will be more widely shared with the community after comments have been collected from the Councils.  The R&E BTOP proposal submitted by Internet2 and NLR was discussed as important to the future of the network should the proposal be funded.  The AOAC indicated that planning for the next network needs to continue with or without BTOP funding.  The AOAC will continue to discuss their priorities for the next year during the June meetings.
d.    ARIN (Dave Farmer & Michael Lambert)
Michael reviewed the activities noted on the ARIN site and highlighted some of the points of interest to this group.  He mentioned that ARIN PoC have received email indicating that ARIN will be updating their database.
