3.    Peering Working Group
The peering working group held their first call in November.  Steve Wallace sent the peering policy to the NTAC.  Several NTAC members commented and Steve sent an updated document that included Michael Lambert's proposed change.  Steve will send updated document with all of the comments in the next few days.  At the end of that process, a web page will be created and a note will be sent to the NTAC indicating the location of the web page.
Dave Farmer suggested that IPv6 working group receive the document.
Linda asked that anyone interested in being on the NTAC peering group mailing list send an email.

4.    ARIN
Dale sent a document describing the ARIN legacy issue.  There was a request for comments on the document prior to it being sent to a larger group.  Dave Farmer suggested that this document be sent to the executive contacts within Internet2.  ARIN has the RSA available and some organizations are signing it.  Dale mentioned that he hasn't heard any legal opinions on the ARIN document.   Dave Farmer would like to have a recommendation for outside counsel on the specific issues.  Discussion ensued regarding finding legal counsel to review this.  The group indicated that they would like to have a legal opinion for the group.  Dale, on behalf of the NTAC, will provide a description of the opinion being sought and suggesting the legal resource that can be used for the opinion.  Dave would also like to have one or more recommendations for legal counsel to review this.  Discussion ensued regarding pursuing other opinions from DREN, ESnet, etc.  Representatives of this group will be in attendance at Joint Techs so queries will be made at that time.  Dave asked for comments on the document so that it can be more widely disseminated.

5.    Naval Observatory
