**Action Items**

[AI] - Jim will send a first draft of the Face2Face agenda to those on today's call. After feedback, he will mail to the list. This will include a call for panel leaders in sessions not yet covered.

[AI] Jim to contact Bruce Vincent (Stanford) for the third institutional presentation at the 11:45 am session.  ** Face2Face Meeting**At this point, nothing is final for a guest speaker for the Face2Face.
The survey for informing the Face2Face agenda was posted and closed this week. The top areas of interest for the agenda include:

  • How and where I.T. Architecture has been implemented at your institution
  • Applying architectural frameworks in higher education - challenges and alignments
  • I.T. Portfolio management - mapping strategy to tactics
  • Workflow and Business Rules Engines
  • Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Standard Application development models (Workflow -> Business Rules -> IdM -> how do they plug in together)Several survey respondents volunteered to serve on a panel, but no one volunteered to lead a panel or session. It was suggested that the topics should be more specific, but to leave it up to the panel leader to provide the specificity.
The working group discussed the order in which topics should be presented, and whether some topics could be consolidated. With an anticipated attendance of 15 or so, formal presentations and guideline won't be necessary. For the most part, everyone in the room will be part of the panel and the leader's job is to provide structure to the conversation. After some discussion, a tentative agenda was developed. As always, see the latest version on the ITANA wiki (https://spaces.at.internet2.edu/display/itana/Home)

[AI] - Jim will send a first draft of the Face2Face agenda to those on today's call. After feedback, he will mail to the list. This will include a call for panel leaders in sessions not yet covered.

Jim suggested that the timing of the ITANA Face2Face could dovetail well with the CSG meetings the next day. There may be some interesting material to report out to CSG. Paul Hill, Mark Poepping, Bruce Vincent and Jim Phelps are leading panels at CGG and could use that opportunity to report out on the ITANA discussions.

[AI] Jim to contact Bruce Vincent (Stanford) for the third institutional presentation at the 11:45 am session.
