Action Items

(AI) Steven and David will develop short text under the “short-term priorities” section regarding the lack of specific staffing recommendations

(AI) TAC - please read through the document one more time before Tuesday and make any changes that are needed.

Document Review

Would like to send a document to Steering next Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014.

How should the document discuss staffing?

  • Steering will make resource recommendations to Internet2 as part of its policy-setting priorities. The though is not to specifically address staffing recommendations here, but focus on defining the work that needs to be done.
  • (AI) Steven and David will develop short text under the “short-term priorities” section regarding the lack of specific staffing recommendations

Add to the document intro that this is a point-by-point response to Steering’s request to flesh out its seven priorities

Move short-term items to the top, with pointers to the longer discussion below.

Text under “short term priorities” heading and the bullets – explain why staffing it not specifically addressed. (AI) SteveC and David will work something up

Keep this as a living document for TAC (maintaining the comments in the margin), but produce a PDF static document for Steering.

Steve thanks everyone participating today – a lot was accomplished in a very short time frame, and in the traditional consensus-building way.

(AI) TAC - please read through the document one more time before Tuesday and make any changes that are needed.
