The University of Florida IAM group partnered with the Provost Office Distance Ed group to develop the QuickReg service.

This site reviews the program and the steps on how to set up an activity in QuickReg,  What the student taking the activity experiences, and additional materials.

The QuickReg enrollment process steps students through (see the pdf flowchart):

  • Registration, with name, date of birth, and email as the minimum information needed,
  • Verification of their email address,
  • Creation of their GatorLink ID, credential
    • Biztalk messages create MIT Kerberos credentials and Active Directory entries
  • Payment of any fees via IPay(Credit Card interface), and
  • Automatic enrollment in and access to a Sakai-based course or activity in an immediate manner

Only non-college credit activities may use QuickReg for registration since college credit courses require admission to the University and enrollments must be tracked through the Registrar's Office.
