More than fifty higher ed institutions are participating in the Cloud Storage Working Group facilitated by Internet2. The "Deprovisioning of Accounts" sub-workgroup has focused on the creation of a set of best practices, and documentation for common scenarios such as:
Removal of access from user
Holding account in case of return
Holding content for specified time
Identifying collaborators in shared content who will lose access
Strategies for transferring content to new owners
The sub-working group comprised more than twenty universities and it was led by Chuck Boeheim of Cornell University.
