- Have been in conversations with Ann about various models and Pricing
- There is a re-organization going on with in InCommon
- This tier effort is disruptive
- There hasn’t been a discussion with the steering committee since the fall. They weren’t asking for a decision. They are looking to the end of February to go to the steering committee. For approval on:
- Term sheet and pricing
- No legal review yet (they want the term-sheet agreed on first – term sheet needs to turn into a contract.
- There are draft contracts
- They want the business people to drive the content.
- Insurance - MCNC is proceeding with the thought that they won’t be doing anything different
- Pilot Status Updates from those on the call. Goals for 2015.
- Nebraska – A lot of state-wide re-organization. Collaboration with Illinois is still going forward. Student privacy is becoming a real issue to the point where there will be a privacy officer in every state. Nebraska is trying to head off any rules and regulations that will effect privacy and access to the internet. They are still looking at a portal system and looking at several vendors.
- MCNC – The community college they have been working with has been trying to get a couple of Student Portals up and running. Any changes that need to be made to software needs to be contracted out to a developer. Steve Thorpe is heading this.
- UEN – Stalled
- WiscNet – will be working more with Aegis - Adding a new staff person (similar to Mark S. position)
- Next All Pilots Call: Thursday, Feb. 25, 2015
