A History of the Research & Scholarship Category

  1. [2012-02-20] The first three applications for R&S were approved: 1) CILogon; 2) Prototype GENI Identity Portal (now referred to as the GENI Experimenter Portal); and 3) UW-Milwaukee CGCA Wiki.
  2. [2012-03-15] A modification to the Research & Scholarship Category definition was proposed. The proposed change to the R&S Category definition took effect on March 29, 2012, after a brief community comment period.
  3. [2014-11-03] A modification to the Research & Scholarship Category definition was proposed. The proposed change to the R&S Category definition took effect on November 3, 2014, when the change was publicly announced.
  4. [2014-12-01] The requirements to become a member of the Research & Scholarship Category were changed to better align with the new REFEDS R&S Category specification. Implementation of the new R&S requirements was completed on December 1, 2014.
