InCommon is pleased to announce general availability of version 3.0 of the InCommon Federation Manager. Release notes for this version of the Federation Manager may be found on the wiki.
This release introduces responsive design (targeted for use on mobile devices) for the Site Administrator functions and provides Site Administrators with a new "dashboard" from which they can easily determine the status of their metadata, as well as add and modify metadata. This simplifies the submission of metadata. More simplification is planned for upcoming releases. This roadmap and the Federation Manager releases this year were made possible by the InCommon dues increase enacted by InCommon steering in the fall of 2016. One target for that dues increase was 'hardening of InCommon infrastructure', and this work is part of that commitment.
