BE2 Status (Dockets, Exception Requests, Outreach Signups, Missing Elements)
- Currently at 90% adoption for Baseline Expectations v2 (secure endpoints not included in this)
- Some institutions are working on becoming compliant with BEv2
- Albert is maintaining the dispute resolution docket
- Some institutions that are not yet in compliance have requested and received an extension until February 17, 2022
- A good chunk of those not in compliance fall under some big college systems
- Outreach is underway
- Outreach around BEv2 can be frustrating when contact info is out of date or contacts do not respond
- Eventually CTAB will likely need to provide InCommon Steering with a recommendation, such as to remove entities from metadata, as was done for Baseline Expectation V1
- Albert plans to make automated “housekeeping” (checking) of InCommon metadata a priority.
- Will be helpful to automatically check contacts, logo, error URL etc.
