The Grouper 2.2.1 grouper upgrader will upgrade the ehache config file.

  1. It will compare the ehcache.xml with the existing ehcache.example.xml.  It does this to see what customizations were made to the ehcache.xml.  This assumes that the ehcache.example.xml is what it should be based on the version of grouper being used.
  2. Then it will backup the ehcache.xml and ehcache.example.xml, and replace them with the new Grouper version ehcache.example.xml.
  3. Finally it will merge in the changes detected in the previous step into the new ehcahce.xml
