The Collaboration Management Platform (CMP) space is still fairly new with a wide variety of architectures and ideas creating a rich landscape for exploration. While the space is in no way close to maturity, a few categories are emerging encompassing the different approaches. This wiki pages exists to capture those categories as they emerge and help VO think about which type of CMP might be right for their use.
