A user of a Bamboo Work Space [or Corpora Space, or other environment that includes a user interface to the Tools and Services Registry (TSR) API] wishes to view and contribute to the TSR without leaving their current / familiar / preferred environment. Even if the view API requires no AuthN/AuthZ, calls to the TSR APIs that seek to write to the registry must include a cross-ecosystem reference to the actor (person seeking to make a contribution to the TSR) - that is, a reference to a unique Bamboo Person identifier that identifies a person's profile across Bamboo environments / applications / platforms. This permits a person to log into an environment (e.g., a Work Space) and contribute to a different environment (TSR) without the need to exit the preferred environment -- integrating TSR contribution into 'normal' workflow.
