InCommon’s Community Trust and Assurance Board (CTAB) is looking for more members to continue support of Baseline Expectations for Trust in Federation. CTAB’s duties include shepherding the community consensus, guiding InCommon’s Trust Programs, and leading dispute resolution when concerns about participants arise. Members will have a substantial and lasting impact on how InCommon enables the academic mission.

The Community Trust and Assurance Board needs members representing all of InCommon, including:

  • Universities and Colleges, both large and small
  • Research and scholarly communities
  • Commercial service providers, both large and small
  • IT and IT Security strategic leadership
  • IAM and Information Security operations
  • International perspective
  • Internal Audit
  • InCommon Staff

If you’d like to know more about CTAB, please review the CTAB charter (http://doi.org/10.26869/TI.94.1)
or contact any of the existing members listed at https://www.incommon.org/about.html.

The committee meets, virtually, every two weeks and has one or two face-to-face meetings per year, with terms lasting for three years. We welcome personal nominations, volunteers, and recommendations for the positions on the board. Please reach out to express interest or with any questions to Brett Bieber, InCommon Community Trust & Assurance Board Chair, ctab@incommon.org.

Nominations will be accepted through Friday, December 21, 2018.

Brett Bieber, University of Nebraska and Chair of the InCommon Community Trust & Assurance Board (CTAB)
